La Fageda de’n Jordà

La Fageda d’en Jordà, one of the 28 nature reserves of the Natural Park of La Garrotxa (Girona), grows on the lava flow of the Croscat volcano, which extends through the municipalities of Santa Pau, Olot and les Preses.

It has a beech forest (Fagus sylvatica), in a flat, gently rolling hills and an altitude of 550 m.
