Blanes / Costa Brava

Marimurtra Botanical Garden

The Marimurtra Botanical Garden has a 4ha extension of living plant collections. The collections show a total of approximately 3,000 species of zones corresponding to subtropical, temperate and Mediterranean climates around the world.

The garden has been declared a property of national interest by the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Costa Brava

Beaches and coves

The Costa Brava has some of the most beautiful beaches in Spain. When we talk about the Costa Brava, we think directly of small coves with calm and turquoise water, flanked by cliffs.

Our favorite beaches from Camping del Mar:

  • In Blanes (10 minutes from the campsite): Cala Sant Francesc and Cala Treumal. With little depth, Cala Sant Francesc is ideal to go with children!
  • In Tossa de Mar (30 minutes from the campsite): Cala Girverola and Cala Bona

You will also love the campsite’s beach, a virgin beach with a natural appearance, ideal for lovers of the environment and those who want to avoid crowds.

Costa Brava

Camí de Ronda

Walking these paths (Camí de Ronda) is one of the best ways to discover the Costa Brava, from Blanes to Portbou. The Costa Brava has almost 130 kilometers of trails along its coastline and some sections will amaze you with its views of the sea, its cliffs, its fishing villages or its vegetation.

Recommendations from Camping del Mar:

  • The section between Sant Feliu de Guíxols and S’Agaró to discover the most beautiful places of the Costa Brava
  • The section of Cadaqués, one of the most beautiful villages in the region to the Cap de Creus Lighthouse for stunning views
  • Finish with a refreshing swim in a small cove with transparent waters: don’t forget your swimsuit!
  • We recommend wearing sports clothes and shoes. All sections are suitable for the whole family.

Montseny Natural Park

Discover the routes, points of interest and other useful information to enjoy your stay with intensity!

The extraordinary quality of the Montseny landscapes, the great diversity of plant formations and the spectacular seasonal color changes make it an ideal place for hiking.

The Montseny hides many secrets: a lost hermitage, a spectacular viewpoint, a fir forest, a fountain with history, some prehistoric remains, …

The Montseny is considered a Natural Park both for its natural wealth and for its scientific interest. It was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.

Montnegre i el Corredor Natural Park

The Montnegre massif is part of the set of small coastal mountains that make up the Serrallada Litoral. The forest is the most characteristic element and its slopes full of vegetation have both panoramic views of the sea and the hinterland.

If we enter the mountain range, we will find Neolithic dolmens, Iberian remains, medieval churches and natural elements such as waterfalls.

This small massif offers us a good group of possible routes for mountain biking or trekking, which is why it is highly frequented by lovers of these sports.

Montseny

Tourdera route

We propose you a cycling, hiking and mountain biking route, following the course of the Tordera through the history, landscapes and people of a territory with surprising contrasts.

We recommend you discover the section that passes in front of Camping del Mar during your holidays!

“From Montseny to the Mediterranean, by bicycle or on foot, all lovers of nature and sport can enjoy this route that offers a unique journey through its territorial diversity and the wealth of its heritage.”
