First of all, as an establishment, at Camping del Mar, we use km 0 products in our bar and restaurant, contributing both to the local economy and to the efficiency due to the proximity of the product, making possible the balance between product quality and sustainability. This allows us not only to increase the consumption of local products through our customers, but also the balance of being able to move the local economy and make our social and economic environment more sustainable.
Waste management Both in the restaurant and in the other departments, we responsibly manage all the waste generated in a responsible and efficient way, thus reducing the environmental impact. Likewise, we have contents to separate this waste and contribute to recycling.
Energy and water efficiency Our commitment to the environment commits us to the responsible use of energy and water. In this sense, we make use of efficient electrical equipment, as well as energy-saving connection systems that allow us to reduce consumption and be more efficient. In the case of water management, we have our own well that allows us to take advantage of our own consumption and save on daily use both internally and in the use of our customers every day.
Our customers As customers, we can always do our bit to contribute to being responsible with our surroundings, in short, with the environment. Camping del Mar offers you many possibilities in this sense to collaborate in this task, so necessary in these times we live in. Thus, we have charging points for electric cars, we offer bicycle rental so that you can move around, thus reducing the environmental impact of using the car for short distances. During the stay in the different types of accommodation, we can make a responsible use of water with the fashionable “shower in 4 minutes” challenge, not leave lights or electrical appliances on if we are not inside the accommodation, close windows when we use the air conditioning or heating and contribute to recycling by separating the waste generated during the stay.
In short, as a society, in a collaborative way, we all count and contribute to this responsible task to care for and improve our environment, above all to continue enjoying the climate and the nature that surrounds us.
